Who I am

This site is run by Joseph Lawrence trading as Eastry Electrical, an electrician based in West Wickham. I am responsible for the details you send through it.

What I collect

When you send a quote request, I receive the details you type: your name, phone number, email if you give one, the postcode, and any photos you attach. WhatsApp messages come to my business phone.

Why

To price the job and reply to you. Nothing else. You asked me for a quote, and that request is my reason for using your details. I do not sell them, and I do not add you to a mailing list.

Who else handles it

The site is hosted by Netlify, which also runs the quote form and holds your photos and a copy of your request while they are sent to me. The emails are delivered by Resend. Both handle your details only to run those services, and some of that happens in the United States. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics counts visits to the site.

How long I keep it

Photos are deleted from the site's servers as soon as your request reaches me, or within a few hours if it never sends. A copy of your request without the photos is kept for 30 days as a backup, then deleted. Enquiries that do not become a job are deleted from my inbox once they are closed. For jobs I do, the quote, invoice and test paperwork are kept as business records, because you may need copies later.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising cookies, and nothing is stored on your device until you choose on the notice at the bottom of the page. If you accept, the site may use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits without telling me who you are. If you reject it, the site remembers that choice and nothing else.

Your rights

Ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Call or WhatsApp 07871 575851. If you are unhappy with how I handle your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
